Are We Doing Best For Our Environment.?

We have always been directly and indirectly connected to the environment.
But today in day-to-day growing technology, we forget to think about our environment.
We ever think what is happening in our environment.the biggest question is arise that “are we doing best for our environment.?”
so i want to tell you somethig related to this question which will give you more details about our awareness about environment and initiatives which takes by us and our government.

1.initiatives of governmet
a.Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
(The national cleanliness drive” Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” the most popular campaign relating to environment that launched on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2, 2014)

b.Green Skill Development Programme
( Green Skill Development Programme was launched in June 2017 by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change. 
‘Green skills’ refers to those that contribute to preserve and restore environment and create a sustainable future.”

d.Toilets
(it is compulsary to have toilet in every house therefore Swachh Bharat Mission, the government claims to have built over nine crore household toilets and 32 states or Union Territories have been declared open defecation-free since October 2, 2014.)

e.Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act (CAMPA)
(Under this act, any individual or organisation intending to use forest lands for non-forest purposes will be charged.)

Apart from all these, there are many other activities that the government started.

2.action for environment

a.The use of plastic has been banned in India.
b.Deforestation which is a major problem of today.Daily forest was cut down for industry and human need, on which the government has banned and made this illegal.
c.Hunting and Killing is also illegal and if someone does, then there is a provision for punishment.

3.delhi govenment initiatives for environment

Environment Pollution which is the problem of the whole world. To deal with that, the Delhi Government came out with a solution.in which the odd number and even number vehicle run alternate on the road so that pollution will reduce.

4.initiatives for waste management

For the management of garbage coming out from the city, we have set up a management plant outside the city.
For which garbage van runs in the city, which collects the garbage from house to house and reaches the management unit where it is recycle.

5.intiative for plantation

Nowadays planting trees are becoming fashion.Everyone plant at least one tree on any event. Which is a very good start.

6.NGO’s role for environment

There are a lot of NGO’s running in India who follow the following work;

a.Creating awareness among the public on current environmental issues and solutions.
b Protecting the natural resources
c.Analysis and monitoring of environmental quality.
d.Transferring information through newsletters, brochures, articles, audio visuals, etc.
e. Organizing seminars, lectures and group discussion for promotion of environmental awareness.

Apart from all these people also do a lot of work.

People are also becoming aware about the environment these days.They make people aware of the environment and work to protect environment.But the problem does not end here, there is still a lot to be done for the environment.which is more challenging.we have to work together to protecting our environment.
