Husqvarna electric scooter E-01 to be launched in 2021 based on Bajaj Chetak

Pierer Mobility the parent company of KTM and Husqvarna is planning to launch two electric vehicles in the next two years.

The upcoming electric scooter called E-01 and the motorcycle is calling the E-Pilen. According to the document the bike is currently under development.

The upcoming Husqvarna E-01 electric scooter will be based on the Bajaj Chetak. If the image is considered as the basis the design of the scooter will have an edgy concept like styling. Its image does not have details of the suspension system but we can expect that it will have telescopic front forks and single-sided rear shock absorber.

The electric scooter will be powered by a 4kW unit. The wheel of this scooter may be a conventional alloy unit that comes with front and rear disc brakes. The Husqvarna E-01 is a premium product. So its features may include dual-channel ABS, color instrument console, smartphone connectivity, and more modern features.

The upcoming electric motorcycle is calling the E-Pilen.it will use a modern battery system. the E-Pilen will be available with two electric motor options 4kW and 10kW.it looks like the Svartpilen and Vitpilen.

These electric vehicles will be manufactured at the Bajaj Auto plant in Chakan. So we may be one of the first markets where it does go on sale and will be exported to the European markets which have maximum demand for electric vehicles.
