Google is about to launch the Nearby Sharing feature for Android users for file sharing very soon.

This feature of Google will work on Android 6 and the latest version of android devices.

This feature is similar to Apple's AirDrop sharing feature.

In this, you will be able to share heavy files, videos, photos, audio, and other files without any internet connection.

When a user tries to send any file from Nearby Share, then for its security the security request will be received by the users after it is accepted then you will be able to share the file.

For security, it has three visibility options to choose  All, Some, and Hidden.

If the user turning on a nearby share and selects some option, then you will be visible to the selected user only. If you select All, then you will be visible to all users and contacts for file sharing. If you choose Hidden then you will not be visible to anyone.

In order to send or receive the file, both the users' devices must have Nearby Sharing.

With this feature, you will soon be able to share files between Android devices and Chromebooks.

You will be able to use these features only between  Android devices.
